It’s hard to beat the sounds of the river. Birds, boats, the lapping of the waves coming in… Heaven! I can close my eyes, relax & go to sleep in no time 😊

Sunday Reflections…

I was up late last night and into the early morning hours. Playing with my new camera 📸 This morning all I wanted was a cup of coffee 😎

I walked into the kitchen to fix some coffee, Jo said ‘look by the chair’… Sure enough, she had me fixed up and ready at my favorite spot😊

“From the cupboard two mugs are brought
Grounds are measured, water hot
The drips fill up the coffee ***

From the spout the bold brew streams
One sweet with sugar, rich with cream
The other black, reflection gleams
Both give rise to wisps of steam

Anticipation piqued
Each unique

At first, slow sips with careful words
Not too much, don’t get burned

Pleasure comes with each sip
The words caressing from your lip
Drinks become deeper, feelings slip

My cup’s now empty, but my heart is lit”

~ Jaron

Have a great Sunday!

Saturday ‘Road Song’

Everyone loves a good ‘Road Song’. A perfect song to get behind the wheel and set off to… I have always loved this old John Kilzer song! Since Johns untimely death, it’s now available on iTunes with that entire album! In my opinion, one of the best rock albums EVER!

This has always been one of my favorites off this album. John was an Awesome musician! May he Rest In Peace!

Here’s the song –

I’m gonna get out on the Highway today myself! Y’all have a great weekend!

PS: Take a few minutes and put together a “Road Song Playlist” – Then get out and take a ride around your beautiful area of the world and enjoy!😎

Waterfall Wednesday | Carters Nursery, Pond & Patio | Jackson, Tennessee

Another #Waterfallwednesday is upon us 😊 I ❤️ Waterfalls! Here are two (2) brand new Waterfalls that were just set in motion. These are on the same feature, and it’s a Very special Water Garden! I will show this whole project in a future Blog, once it’s complete… It’s still a “work in progress”.

I slowed the shutter speed down a little on this picture to really show the smooth, flowing feel of this waterfall. I think it turned out to have a very natural look and feel. | Carters Nursery, Pond & Patio | Jackson, Tennessee

This Waterfall & Stream enter a different part of the pond & create a very natural look and feel. The driftwood adds a nice touch too. | Carters Nursery, Pond & Patio | Jackson, Tennessee

I LOVE seeing a new Water Garden come to life! There’s nothing like it 😊

I hope y’all enjoy my offerings for #WaterfallWednesday!

Sunday Reflections…

I’ve been sitting on a stump by the edge of a field since right after sunrise this morning, just thinking 🤔 Contemplating…

Life is short, what will today bring? So many blessings!

“Who made the world?
Who made the swan, and the black bear?
Who made the grasshopper?
This grasshopper, I mean–
the one who has flung herself out of the grass,
the one who is eating sugar out of my hand,
who is moving her jaws back and forth instead of up and down–
who is gazing around with her enormous and complicated eyes.
Now she lifts her pale forearms and thoroughly washes her face.
Now she snaps her wings open, and floats away.
I don’t know exactly what a prayer is.
I do know how to pay attention, how to fall down
into the grass, how to kneel in the grass,
how to be idle and blessed, how to stroll through the fields,
which is what I have been doing all day.
Tell me, what else should I have done?
Doesn’t everything die at last, and too soon?
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
With your one wild and precious life?”

~ Mary Oliver

Have a Blessed Sunday,
