Our 8th. Annual Moonlight Pond Tour is coming soon and you don’t want to miss this Wonderful Night! This is the original and only Garden Tour of it’s type in the state of Tennessee! This Water Garden Tour was founded and is hosted each year by Carters Nursery, Pond & Patio of Jackson, Tn.(Madison County).
The Moonlight Pond Tour takes place each fall and coincides with the Full Moon. The Moonlight Pond Tour will showcase Eco-System Ponds, Water Gardens, Pondless Waterfalls, Disappearing Fountains and Koi Ponds, all under a Gorgeous ‘Moonlit sky’ and is enhanced by AWESOME Landscape Lighting. “People just Love this event” says Mark Carter, Designer at Carters Nursery. “It’s Very unique” says Carter, “Most people have never been on a Garden Tour at night. But once they see the Landscape Lighting and the Waterfalls glowing and the fish sparkling in the Underwater Lights, they are Mesmerized. It’s a great night out with the family or friends and a Wonderful Date Night.”
Now in its 8th year, The Moonlight Pond Tour features favorite Ponds from years past along with some awesome new Water Features to enjoy! This is a self guided tour and is easy to follow, so tour at your own pace! Most of the stops are close together and the signs and map booklets are wonderfully easy to follow.
The Jackson Madison County Humane Society receives 100% of the money from the tickets we sell for the tour! We Love and Support our Local Humane Society and we Support their Mission in our Community! We truly appreciate your support too. It’s a Win-Win – Have fun and help a worthy cause!

This is the second of our annual ‘Summer Seminars’. In this class we will discuss the basics of Perennial Gardening with a focus on Plants that help foster Butterflies and Hummingbirds. “To really have success with Butterflies you have to do it Organically” says Mark Carter, Landscape/Garden Designer for Carter’s Nursery. ” During this class we will show you how to build a successful Organic Perennial Garden from the ground up” says Carter. “Organic soil development using compost & manure, Organic Pest Control, Organic Mulching, etc. will be discussed as well as Plant Selection and how to do it all as Low Maintenance as possible. We will all have some fun at this one and I think we will all benefit from it”. The class is Free and so is Lunch for all that come. Please give us a call to register.
