Exactly 1 year ago today this Waterfall was set in motion… These folks told me it literally changed their lives!❤️ Thats what having a waterfall right outside your backdoor will do for ya’ 😊

Ahhhh, sweet November! We are post Halloween and quickly approaching the Holiday Season! With all this Fall beauty comes Fall chores, and one of my favorite fall chores is leaf cleanup 🍁 which means Bonfire 🔥
Waterfalls and Fire Pits are different elements for sure, but they are very similar too… You can get lost in the burble and movement of a Waterfall for sure! A good fire will capture your attention in much the same way… I can sit and watch a good fire and get so relaxed!! A good fire will take you to a place of Zen! So grab a good leaf rake and create a little place of Zen for yourself…

Monday mornings are a little different… A new week starts now. Time to make the doughnuts… Are you ready? Being mentally prepared is the key 🔐 It helps me to relax and focus to listen to the sound of flowing water 🌊 Check this video out and see what you think.
Did you listen? Do you see what I mean? Its a scientific fact, that being around moving, flowing water, ie; Waterfalls 🌊 makes your heart rate drop, it lowers blood pressure, it helps you to breath easier and you get an almost immediate feeling of relaxation. I for one can attest to all these things, because I visit mine daily 😊

There is just something about a Waterfall that grabs you… Not just the movement, the sound! The splash, the Burble… And at night, the lighting! The accent lighting puts such a focus on the beauty of the flowing, splashing, burbling water… It’s Magical!

The Hummingbirds have been Awesome this year! So have the “Hummingbird Moths”. They sometimes get confused with an actual Hummingbird, but… Just watch as she hovers in and around the flowers 🌺 So elegant. You can hear the buzz 🐝 of her wings, it’s almost hypnotic… You can get lost just watching her work. So Zen like…
Here is a copy/paste from Wikipedia- “Hemaris diffinis, the snowberry clearwing, is a moth of the order Lepidoptera, family Sphingidae. This moth is sometimes called “hummingbird moth” or “flying lobster”. This moth should not be confused with the hummingbird hawk-moth of Europe.”
They nectar on the same flowers that butterflies and hummingbirds feed on, so think about that when planting your seasonal annuals and you will see more Butterflies 🦋 Hummingbirds and Hummingbird Moths.

A thick bank of fog hung over the river, like it does many mornings. As the sun came up it slowly started to burn off. The smooth water, the coolness of the air, the smell of the river and the hum of the motor are about as sweet as it gets… All the senses are engaged… Talk about a feeling of Zen!
