I have been on the road for the past few days doing some out of town Water Feature Design work. My travels have taken me into middle and eastern Tennessee, up into the mountains ⛰ What a beautiful state we live in ❤️ I Love TN! To top it all off, the TN VOLS 🏈 finally broke a loosing streak to Alabama and beat them at home in Knoxville! 🏈💥
Now it’s back down the mountain, across the plateau and the TN River to West Tn… and to quote the old saying “There is NO place like home!”

soft blankets and comfy pillows that
that mould so knowingly,

not to forget my darling doggy

after you have had fun and travelled,

It’s officially Summertime! And day after tomorrow – Saturday June 25th is the day of our Annual Summer Pond Tour to benefit the Jackson Animal Care Center! What a great way to kick off the 1st week of Summer, Let’s go on a Garden Tour!
This years Summer Pond Tour showcases beautiful & unique, koi ponds, pondless waterfalls, disappearing fountains and of course LOTS of gorgeous landscaping! This Self Guided Tour is located in Jackson, TN. (Madison County) and is simple to follow. This Summer Pond Tour is more importantly a fundraiser for the Jackson Animal Care & Adoption Center, and 100% of ticket sales go to help them, so tell all your friends!!!

Don’t blink 👁 It’s #Waterfallwednesday again! I have been going through photos putting together a slideshow presentation for a wonderful group of local gardeners. I just really enjoy looking back at projects we have been involved in! Especially when I get to use the information to help others who are interested in our wonderful hobby of water gardening!

Waterfall Wednesday is here again. Here is a Waterfall from a recent project. This new Pond needed a powerful biological filter to handle a decent sized fish load, ie; LOTS of Koi… So we specified a customized Bog, aka: Constructed Wetland Filter! Large boulders, cobblestone, washed river gravel & booku Aquatic Plants!!
It turned out Beautiful! 👇🏻

I thought I would post this for my contribution to #waterfallwednesday
Shane (my construction supervisor), Jacob (my son) & I went down and spent an entire week working with Gulf Coast Aquascapes & a team of fellow Certified Aquascape Contractors to build this Awesome Waterfall Feature at the New Gulf Coast Zoo! This will be the Spider Monkey Island exhibit.
The good news is, the Little Zoo That Could will be reopening soon! It will now be known as the ‘Little Zoo That Grew”! Click on the link below for more info…

She talked about the Waterfalls & Koi and all the plants and trees. She told me this place was a “Hidden Gem” 😊 Thank You! ❤️ And yes,’I hear that kind of thing often! We sit back off the road in a little valley of sorts, a “Hollow” or “Holler” as my grandma called it 😊 The #1 thing that I get told is that we are “Jackson’s Best Kept Secret”! Personally, I think that’s pretty cool 😎
