I got up with the sun, fixed coffee, put on my garden shoes on the porch and haven’t been back inside yet… Again, short handed at the nursery and so many chores to do… even on the sabbath 🙏🏻 But I feel good with it, (see Luke 14), when Jesus demonstrates to the Pharisees that some emergencies must be dealt with immediately, even if it means breaking the sabbath to do so… Ox in the ditch… Or in our case, watering to keep plant stock alive… And to beautify the landscape❤️

Even tho we are working 7 days a week right now, I know at the end of the day that I’m a very lucky and a very blessed man! 🙏🏻
“Come, fill the Cup, and in the Fire of Spring
The Winter Garment of Repentance fling:
The Bird of Time has but a little way
To fly–and Lo! the Bird is on the Wing.”
~ Omar Khayyám
Have a wonderful Sunday Afternoon!

I would normally be starting fires 🔥 about now. 1st a bonfire in the fire pit, then a load of lump charcoal for the egg… All the guys would be prepping & getting ready for the crowds to come (Hundreds of people)… The petting zoo would be setting up soon for all the kids & my wife would be hanging a big custom Piñata.
Then, I move to the kitchen and start chopping onions 🧅 & Peppers 🌶- A LOT of both! Then prepping/cutting up sausages and chicken. If this sounds like a party, you would be correct! This was to be the day of our Annual Spring Fest…

I’m missing the family’s that come for the Spring Fest today… All the kids playing and petting the animals…
Instead of hosting a party, the whole country is shut down. My mom told me earlier, “things happen for a reason”…. And I know she’s right! Instead of focusing on what we don’t get, or have, We ALL must count our BLESSINGS! 🙏🏻 And they are many! 🙏🏻

“You get what you focus on”… Old saying for a reason! Right now is a time to be with family and to count your blessings!
Gods Blessings to YOU 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I’m going to spend time with my family! I’m still gonna fire up the grill 🔥 I’m still going to get outside on this beautiful day! And believe me, when this virus quarantine is over -We will ALL get together for a BIG celebration 🎉 💥
In the meantime, enjoy this time off. And tell the ones in your life that you love ❤️ them! At the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about anyway 😊
Stay safe!
Love ❤️ & Peace ✌🏻 to ALL!
