Here’s a short video that I took at a Moonlight Pond Tour a few years back. We’ve been hosting this unique ‘nighttime garden tour’ for 18 years and running. This Saturday is the full Harvest Moon and I know it’s going to be the Perfect Night for a magical Pond Tour!
What: The 18th. Annual Moonlight Pond Tour
When: Saturday, September 10th. from dusk (7:00) till 11pm.
Where: Beautiful North Jackson, Tn. in Madison County.
Why: It’s Fun, Affordable and it’s for a GREAT CAUSE! A truly Unique & Beautiful Garden Tour!

This popped up as a Facebook memory today from 7 years ago… So, boom 💥 heres a very memorable Throwback!
There was a heck of a lightning storm going on and I was trying to photograph some lightning that was striking the ground right behind the house across the street (I know – real smart:) All the other lightning was shooting strait down but was in long strait bolts. This one was just as bright and vivid, but much larger and as you see, ‘beam like’…This picture was pretty cool – the lightning was much more vivid than the picture shows and it came down almost like a cylindrical barrel of lightning… Never seen anything quite like it.
That strange ’ray of lightning’ gave me the weirdest feeling! A close lightning strike will make your hair stand up etc., but this one took my breath… I still remember the feeling of not being able to draw a breath in, for what seemed like a minute. Strange and Awesome feeling! My offering for #Throwbackthursday!

What a Beautiful Day! The sun 🌞 is out! The world is greening up for Spring! AND, its not raining!🌧😊 Plus, we are getting to do something we haven’t been able to do since 2019! Yes! It’s Throwback Thursday and we are once again getting the opportunity to set up a Water Feature at the Spring Fling in Memphis! 🔥
Its going to be an Awesome weekend at the Spring Fling! I have been doing this show for many years now, and I have never seen such a busy Thursday! Flowers and plants in HUGE #’s 🤩 There will be classroom activity as well as experts on hand to answer most any question about Gardening and Outdoor Living. Plus all kinds of things to buy for the Home and Garden! Do yourself a favor and come down here Friday or Saturday – The hours are 9am-5pm. Your going to LOVE it! ❤️
