Waterfall Wednesday | Carters Nursery, Pond & Patio | Jackson, Tennessee

Waterfall Wednesday is here again. Here is a Waterfall from a recent project. This new Pond needed a powerful biological filter to handle a decent sized fish load, ie; LOTS of Koi… So we specified a customized Bog, aka: Constructed Wetland Filter! Large boulders, cobblestone, washed river gravel & booku  Aquatic Plants!!
It turned out Beautiful! 👇🏻

This beautiful Waterfall flows from an Awesome natural filter, known as a Constructed Wetland Filter. It doesn’t really look like a filter per se’, it looks natural! Biomimicry at its best! | Carters Nursery, Pond & Patio | Jackson, Tennessee

It’s gonna be a Beautiful Day! Get out and enjoy!

Have a great, #waterfallwednesday!

Waterfall Wednesday | Carters Nursery, Pond & Patio | Jackson, Tennessee

Another #waterfallwednesday is upon us! Check out this beauty I’ve posted for you today. It may look like nature created this beauty,  but we just turned this one on for the first time in this photo. That’s our goal. Water Features that look, sound and feel ‘Natural’…

This waterfall may look like it been here for a long time, but we just turned it on for the first time. That’s the Art of creating Waterfalls

Have a safe & happy Waterfall Wednesday!

The Tennessee Aquarium, Old Friends, Good times!

Today Jo & I met up with some old friends and went on a tour of the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga. All of us are fish nuts so this was a treat! We are on the last leg of our “Anniversary Trip” & this was a LOT of fun!

I hope you enjoy the pictures.

PS: For a little added fun, play the music video and then view the pictures while it plays 😂

Great Day at the Tennessee Aquarium!

From the road… Bumin’ around…

Ive got a pretty cool wife. When I asked her what she wanted to do for our 25th. Wedding Anniversary, she didn’t say what I expected. I figured a cruise or island trip or the like. No sir. She said why don’t we just mess around and take a slow trip around some cool spots in the state. Drive the back roads and see where they take us… WOW! That just hit the spot & sounded perfect! So that’s what we have been doing the last few days. I’m going to put a few pictures on here today and a few more tomorrow and so on and just see where else this road leads 😊

25 years and we still have fun doing things together. Here’s an exact 25 year before and after.

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
