Happy St. Patrick’s Day to ya’! The pub crawls and beer drinking are on hold right now… BUT, good news! You can still pinch the ones closest to you if their Not wearing green 😊
My family has Irish ancestry. LOTS of folks from Tennessee do! How about you?
I think I will try to stick to the old Irish ☘️ tradition of drinking a Guinness or three today 🍺 Tradition is important!
Then there’s the talking in a fake Irish accent – ALL Day! Also, very important Tradition!
And, I always try to lay an old Irish saying or two on some lucky person! 😆
Sayings like –
- If you’re lucky enough to be Irish… You’re lucky enough!
- May you live as long as you want, and never want as long as you live.
- May neighbours respect you, trouble neglect you, the angels protect you, and Heaven accept you.
- And the most important Irish ☘️ saying today – Sláinte! 🍺
This has been on our refrigerator for as long as I can remember… I LOVE old Irish sayings!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day too all! Have fun! But as my grandma used to say, ‘Not too much fun’ 😂 Sláinte! 🍺
