Saturday, March 19th – 9am till 2pm. – Carter’s Nursery Pond & Patio will host an Aquatic Workshop & Customer Appreciation Day! We will have a Pond Maintenance Workshop where we will clean a Koi Pond, divide and pot up aquatic plants & more. We will discuss Pond and Waterfall Design and we will have a full supply of Water Treatments and products for the Spring and Summer season!
Koi Food, Water Treatments, Filters, Pumps, Plumbing and more will be in stock!
We will have local Artist Matt Brown setting up a Gallery within the Nursery and Gardens at Carters Nursery 🖼
AND, we will be bringing in Pizzas for Lunch along with Snacks & refreshments for all that attend. Come out and help us kick off SPRING! (Saturday March 19th. From 9am. till 2pm.) This is a FREE event.

I recently had the pleasure to meet the Ladies of the Helen Schult Garden Club in Caruthersville, Missouri and to speak for their members on my favorite subject- Water Gardening!
Any time I can share my knowledge of this wonderful hobby and Lifestyle, I’m in 😊
The meeting took place at a local members beautiful home, that actually has a Water Garden (that we helped her with)… Her family really enjoys the “Outdoor Lifestyle” that I talk about all the time. Her backyard living area is second to none! Custom paved patio space with an outdoor kitchen, bar and sitting/lounging area beneath a custom Pergola. Complete with a Fire 🔥 feature, a Water Feature and gorgeous pottery and plants… Shang-ra-la…

The Ponds & Gardens around the Nursery will be open for your private enjoyment & You are invited to come out & partake in some good food & fun.
Our ‘Evenings by the Pond’ are always great fun. The night lighting is FANTASTIK!
Shane & the guys will be there to enjoy the evening with us as well & to have an educational discussion on the lighter side about water features, so If you have a water feature and want to talk a little shop, or would like to see what one is all about, this is a great chance to find out. Bring a friend or two and come on out!

We have this little informal ‘Soiree’ (“swah-RAY”), at our Nursery home after hours the 3rd. We will have the tiki torches burning & all the landscape lights going. And, the weather is gonna be Perfect!

For the Adults – We will have several opportunities for you to learn all about Water Gardening and Aquatic Plants. You can get all the information you will need to Design, Build and Maintain a Beautiful Water Garden, Pondless Waterfall or Koi Pond of your own. So, if you have a Water Feature and want to learn more about it, the Aquatic Plants available, Pond Fish like – Koi, Comets, Shubunkins, etc. you will Enjoy this! AND – IF you don’t have a Water Garden, but have been wanting to find out more about them, this is Definitely for YOU!
Get here early to take part in the Pond Maintenance class. We are going to perform a full cleanout and install a Skimmer filter on a Pond! You don’t want to miss this!
Classes will start around 9am. and will go all the way through till 2pm.We will perform a ‘Hands on’ cleanout of a pond on site! We will also do an install of the Latest Aquascape Skimmer Filter! Come see all the new technology available. You will witness all the work being done and be able to ask questions right there on the spot! We will also have a discussion on Water Garden Design and “How To” Implement one in YOUR Landscape!
We will cover the basics of Aquatic Plants and discuss how you can introduce more Aquatic Plants in your Waterscape AND your Landscape.
I will be cooking lunch for all that come, my treat! I’m fixing Hot Dogs and Smoked Sausage with ALL the fixings! We will also be firing up the Saffire Grill to cook some special things 😉 We will have chips and cookies and more! This is my favorite part of the show because I get to fire up the grill & cook!
