Do you work with a team of likeminded individuals? What do I mean by a ’Team’? Well, I just looked it up on the ’Interweb’ 😊
It defines a Team as a group of people who perform interdependent tasks to work toward accomplishing a common mission or specific objective. Boom 💥 Thats exactly what I meant! I have been working with the same group of guys and gals for so long that we exemplify this definition.
Now I am trying to get the word out that we are hiring some new Team Members!

Heres my announcement 👇🏻
Carters Nursery Pond & Patio is hiring!
- We have a full time position open on our Construction Crew.
We are seeking motivated individuals who would like to grow with us and our Nursery/Water Feature/Landscape family.
Some experience in the construction industry would be great. But a Landscaping background is not required. Mainly you must have a good work ethic!
A valid Drivers License is a Must! And being on time is REQUIRED! (That means a few minutes early).
We are primarily a Water feature company that installs Ponds, Streams, Waterfalls, Stone Work, Landscape Structures & Plantings.
You Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly. Boulders & stone are heavy! A wheelbarrow full of dirt is a lot harder to move than you think!
Starting pay is based on experience & driving ability/record. If you work hard, you will advance in pay quickly!
This is a Fun place to work and we take great pride in our work.
Hours are normally 8am to 5pm. , M-F,
Some Saturdays are required (a few). Sometimes we do start as early as 6am and may work later than 5pm. This is construction after all, and you have to make hay when the sun shines.
ALSO – We are needing a couple of people part time at the nursery to help with general chores – watering, deadheading, trimming, fertilizing, general clean up and aiding shoppers. Flexible hours and LOTS of FUN! Come by the Nursery to apply.

Here we are, standing at the crossroads of another year… So many choices to make, so much work to be done. So many blessings to count and so much more to look forward too! A wise lady told me that ’Every day above ground is a Blessing!’ ❤️

“Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.”
~ Robert Frost
I hope we all have a wonderful evening closing out 2021! And here’s to a HUGE 2022! 💥🍾
“Should auld acquaintance be Forgot and never brought to mind? Should auld acquaintance be Forgot and days of auld lang syne? For auld lang syne, my dear, for auld lang syne, We’ll take a cup of kindness yet,for auld lang syne.”
~ Robert Burns
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I wanted to take a moment and congratulate a young lady who is working hard to achieve her goals in the field of Agriculture! Not only is this young lady a fellow FFA member (President of her Chapter), I have had the pleasure of watching her grow up! She’s family 😊 Her name is Nicole McRae.

You have probably met Nicole at Carters Nursery, where she helps customers, loads mulch and topsoil, tends to the plants and helps run the Boutique… Add to that her studies and the fact that she’s active in Church and her community, Nicole is a very active, busy young lady!
We are excited to see her advancing and achieving her goals! When you see her, give her a high 5 ✋🏻 💥 She deserves it!
Congratulations to Nicole McRae! She is the Future of Agriculture.
