What a beautiful morning! I have been looking through pictures of this last week and really reflecting on all the good things that happened. There is and will always be bad things that happen in life, but I try to focus and reflect on the good ones… Business is good, our gardens are flourishing, and one of my oldest friends just got married to the girl of his dreams ❤️ I was his best man to boot 😊 Darn good week!
I LOVE outdoor weddings! And this one stole the show ❤️ Perfect weather, music, food, friends and family… Thats what its all about!

The Hummingbirds have been Awesome this year! So have the “Hummingbird Moths”. They sometimes get confused with an actual Hummingbird, but… Just watch as she hovers in and around the flowers 🌺 So elegant. You can hear the buzz 🐝 of her wings, it’s almost hypnotic… You can get lost just watching her work. So Zen like…
Here is a copy/paste from Wikipedia- “Hemaris diffinis, the snowberry clearwing, is a moth of the order Lepidoptera, family Sphingidae. This moth is sometimes called “hummingbird moth” or “flying lobster”. This moth should not be confused with the hummingbird hawk-moth of Europe.”
They nectar on the same flowers that butterflies and hummingbirds feed on, so think about that when planting your seasonal annuals and you will see more Butterflies 🦋 Hummingbirds and Hummingbird Moths.

Just a simple, flowing creek… listen for a moment and your hooked. I went out yesterday and walked some local creeks and river banks. All my designs are influenced by the streams and creeks of Western Tennessee where I grew up, and they are still what I seek out to recharge my spirit and my energy. Just a simple, flowing creek is all it takes for me 😊

The clover is in full bloom and it’s just beautiful! Some consider it a weed. Not wanted in their lawns! But, not the bees 🐝 They are loving it ❤️
They also depend on it as a valuable food source.

Don’t blink 👁 … It’s Monday once again! “Got anymore of that Weekend”??? The older I get, the more I become ‘pro 3 day weekend’ 😊 Thank goodness for my Waterfalls! This time of year, as everything is waking up, coming out and the weather is getting warmer, I’m out by my Ponds and Waterfalls more and more. My Waterfalls and Koi make mornings and evenings so much more relaxing and bearable. Especially on a busy Monday morning…
