Yes! Its #Waterfallwednesday! It’s also the 1st day of Fall! The Autumnal Equinox 🍁 This morning was perfect for the beginning of Fall! Crisp and cool with a high in the low 70’s 😎 Bring it on!

We just had our Moonlight Pond Tour, which always lines up with the Harvest Moon 🌝 and ushers us into Fall each year. So, I thought it was fitting to use a Harvest Moon Waterfall, this one made a big hit on Facebook …

Waterfall Wednesday | Carters Nursery, Pond & Patio | Jackson, TN

Yes, another week is flying by ✈️ It’s already #waterfallwednesday 🌊

Many people ask me what my favorite Waterfall that we’ve built is…? Well, it’s the one we are building right now of course 😊

Not all Waterfalls are huge and dramatic. Some are gentle and meandering, with streams and lots of small falls and guess what… They have a HUGE impact in the Landscape!
One of the main things in my opinion, is that they fit the scale of the existing Landscape and topography. In other words, if you put a big mound in the middle of a flat space, expect the ‘Volcano’ effect. I try to always make it feel as natural and real as possible.

We are half way to the weekend! Boom 💥

Yes, time is flying by 🌬 So you must be having FUN 🤩 I know I am! It’s Springtime in Tennessee… Here we are at the halfway point of yet another week. Some people call it hump day 🐫… I call it #waterfallwednesday! 💥

A wonderful client sent this to me the other morning. We installed this waterfall over a decade ago and it’s still looking great! Add in her beautiful landscape and awesome pool… It’s a jaw dropper 😳

When you have a Waterfall in your backyard, every day is waterfall day! 💥

Here’s a closeup from under the bridge. I just LOVE this Water Feature! ❤️

2021 is moving right along and here it is, already #waterfallwednesday! I thought I would share one of my personal Waterfalls today…. I have a bunch, a collection, an… obsession 😊 Yes, I have a problem… I guess I should introduce myself.
Hello, my name is Mark Carter & I am a Waterfallaholic 😇

This is one of my favorite Waterfalls. It’s so simple… Moss covered and flowing out from under a big old Cedar Tree Stump. It’s the headwaters to a long flowing stream that feeds a beautiful Koi Pond. Whew 😅 I’m glad I got that off my chest. And I hope y’all enjoy Waterfalls as well! But be careful, they are addictive… Enjoy with moderation 😎

New Year’s Day is only 2 days away… It’s almost time to say bye bye 👋🏻 to 2020! Ive been trying to find a picture of the perfect Waterfall to post for the last #waterfallwednesday of the year.

I couldn’t decide on just 1 picture… So, I made a collage of several images of beautiful Water Features. I hope everyone is ready to move into a new year! And, I hope that 2021 will be the best year ever!

Sprite, our Nursery Elf, wants to tell you that even though 2020 has been CRAZY! Christmas is ON! Santa and all the elves are busy getting ready, so take heart! Christmas IS coming!

We were lucky to have an Elf move in! He has really helped us get ready for Christmas! Come by and see us and say, HI!

Sprite has 2 rules – #1 Since he is an aquatic elf and lives in or near water, he says “Always spend time by your Waterfall”! and #2 ALWAYS keep the spirit of Christmas 🎄 in your heart! ❤️

I Love designing and building Custom Water Features! So projects like this one are special. Building a feature as close to the look and feel of a “Natural Waterfall” was our goal on this one. Good morning! It’s Waterfall Wednesday 😊

A LOT of my inspiration comes from Nature! I have learned so much from observing natural waterfalls and streams!

I was thinking a lot about why I Love ❤️ waterfalls so much. And also where I get my inspiration to design and build them. It really comes from a love of nature. Streams and creeks and natural waterfalls are always the most beautiful! My goal is to replicate them. To design and build a Water Feature in your backyard that looks, sounds and feels like a natural, organic Waterfall… That’s our goal!
