Carter's Water Garden

Sunday Reflections…

Memorial Day is so much more than the beginning of the Summer season. It’s our time as a nation to reflect upon and honor the memory of the many soldiers & sailors who gave their lives in the service of our great country. We are literally standing on their shoulders… If not for their sacrifices, we would not have the freedom that we enjoy! We owe them everything…

Thank you! To all the men and women who gave all so we could have so much…

“In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
        In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
        In Flanders fields.”

God Bless America!
