What to do on a RAINY Cinco de Mayo | Carters Nursery, Pond & Patio | Jackson, TN

It’s PRIME TIME to be out in the garden right now, but alas, it’s gonna rain all day today… what to do? I just remembered it’s also May 5th. – AKA: Cinco de Mayo.

Cinco de Mayo is an annual celebration held on May 5. The date is observed to commemorate the Mexican Army’s difficult victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla, on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza.

So I guess we will take it slow today and visit with some Mexican friends & partake of some good food!

My favorite taco’s! Mahi Mahi at Casa Marina in Jackson, TNย

Jo’s fav. – Chili Colorado ๐Ÿ™‚

Then, grocery shopping and, hopefully, a nap ๐Ÿ™‚ Gotta love a rain day ๐Ÿ™‚

Sometimes a rainy day is a sweet thing ๐Ÿ™‚ Enjoy yours! | Carters Nursery, Pond & Patio | Jackson, TN

Happy Cinco de Mayo!
